United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada (UA) Local 463 recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of all information provided by users of our web sites, subscribers to our newsletters & digests, contest entrants, and email senders and recipients. We have created this policy to be respectful of our users' right to privacy and to guide our relationships with our users.

We collect and maintain non-public personal information in order to:

We do not automatically gather any personal information from you unless you supply it voluntarily, usually through contacting us via e-mail or through our contact us form.

Information is shared with affiliated sister companies and with nonaffiliated third parties only when those parties are acting on our behalf, or as required or permitted by law. These companies are legally obligated to maintain the confidentiality of the information we provide to them, and are restricted from using this information for any reason other than what is specified in the agreement.

We offer our users the option to receive information about the UA Local 463, related information and services, newsletters and emails. Users can choose not to receive these communications at any time by informing the UA Local 463 by email or by phone.

For our internal purposes, we gather date, time, browser type, navigation history and IP address of all visitors to our site. This information does not contain anything that can identify users personally. We use this information for our internal security audit log, trend analysis and system administration, and to gather broad demographic information about our user base for aggregate use.

We employ physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal information about you.

Your information is only maintained in our systems long enough to satisfy our mutual business requirements or to meet any legal obligations.
